Jodi Pries holds a BS of Agricultural Economics from Auburn University, a MBA for Wilmington University, and a MS of Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. She also obtained the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is pursuing her machinery & equipment accreditation from American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
Jodi has extensive experience in agriculture and the appraisal industry. Her work experience includes nine years as an appraiser for a leading agricultural lender, MidAtlantic Farm Credit. She then served as a commercial appraiser for The Trice Group. In 2012, she and Richard Gilmore founded AgVisory in 2012. She also owns and manages 350 acres of farmland in Delaware. This gives her a unique perspective as both a farm operator and as an appraiser/consultant.

Richard Gilmore, ARA, FASA, FRICS

Richard (Dick) Gilmore holds a BS of Agricultural Economics from Ohio State University. He has been a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) since 1989 and received his ARA designation in 1995. In 2010, he was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Society of Appraisers and was awarded the FASA designation. He is also a designated member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and holds the Fellows or FRICS designation.
Dick’s appraisal experience includes farms, ranches, and all types of specialized agricultural and food processing facilities. He also has extensive experience valuing agricultural production related machinery, equipment, inventories, receivables, and intangible assets. He was employed by CoBank and the Farm Credit Bank of Springfield as a credit reviewer and appraiser for thirty years. He co-founded AgVisory with Jodi Pries in 2012.
Dick provides financial consulting to agribusinesses and agricultural producers nationwide. He is a nationally recognized risk management expert and speaks to agricultural and finance groups nationwide. He is a banking and finance consultant specialist in the field of agriculture.

Curtis B. Bearden, MAI

Curtis (Curt) Bearden, MAI has been an industry valuation expert since 1998. Curt's formal education includes BA, MA, Liberty University. Upon entering the appraisal industry in 1998, Curt worked with his father, Jerry H. Bearden, a second-generation poultry farmer and first-generation agriculture valuation specialist; this partnership resulted in a local appraisal firm encompassing two offices with multiple on-staff appraisers. Beginning in 2005, Curt began to expand the specialized agricultural sector of the business, becoming licensed in seven of the Southeastern U.S. states. The expansion and specialization included poultry farms, hog farms, large agricultural land tracts, nurseries, as well as other agri-business related properties. In 2012, he joined the national agricultural valuation and consulting team, AgVisory. In 2013, Curt collaborated with a long-time business associate and MAI, M. Shannon Spillman, and formed AgValue Consulting. Curt has been a trusted expert in many highly specialized ag-properties, including a vertically integrated squab operation, a 5-million-bushel grain elevator facility, 2,800-head dairy operation & creamery, 30- million-ton agricultural lime inventory, as well as many other highly specialized ag-related properties. Curt's most recent specialized ag-projects include valuation software development implemented in private equity portfolio management.
Curt holds the Appraisal Institutes MAI designation as well as Certified General Appraiser in GA, AL, TN, NC, AR, SC, & KY.
Angel Evans

Angel Evans holds a BS of Business Administration from University of Maryland. She is also a Certified Customer Experience Expert and a Certified John Maxwell Speaker, Trainer and Coach. She joined AgValuation as a partner in 2019.
Angel has extensive experience in marketing and business development in the agricultural industry. Her work experience includes serving 24 years for a leading agricultural lender, MidAtlantic Farm Credit where she spent many of those years as the Association’s marketing manager. She also worked three years as Director of Marketing at AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, one of the four District Banks in the Farm Credit System.
Angel provides marketing and business consulting to financial institutions nationwide through her company, Tilted Solutions. She is a nationally recognized customer experience expert and speaks to agricultural and finance groups nationwide.

Jodi, Richard, and Curtis have been working together since 2013. They saw a need from their clients for accurate, timely valuations. They developed and implemented a collateral valuation model which is now called AgValuation.
